ISSYS Announces New Facility

Ann Arbor, Michigan: ISSYS Inc. has moved. As part of an overall expansion, ISSYS Inc has moved to a larger facility. The facility is located in Ypsilanti, Michigan, just outside of Ann Arbor. Once completed the facility will provide for both ISSYS production and R&D needs. On the production side the building houses chemical labs, clean rooms, centralized utilities, and a back end packaging and production area. Design and testing is done in a computer simulation lab, sensing and electronics characterization labs, and of course, ISSYS’s offices. According to Nader Najafi, ISSYS CEO:
"The new facility means a great deal to ISSYS. Now we will be able to perform all of our work under one roof. This means faster product and process development times, so we can bring our new technologies to market faster. It’s a tremendous asset."

ISSYS expects to have the office space finished by June 15th, the chemical and characterization labs completed by the end of July and a new clean room operational sometime in September.
